Good luck getting sleep with the noise from nearby guests!!! I often wished for earplugs and a proper soundproofed room. Limiting amenities like hot water and internet access certainly detracts from the experience!!!

Shower tiles became dangerously slippery when wet, increasing the risk of falls. The advertised pool's cleanliness was appalling, not inviting for a swim. Breakfast options priced way too high for the limited selection, with just 3 eggs and 2 toasts costing 20 Tala. Some bathroom fixtures were broken, making it hard to find a comfortable setup and lacking basic maintenance. Confusing billing—initially quoted in NZ dollars, but charged in Tala at a dubious exchange rate.

I appreciated the convenience of the Transit Motel being close to the airport and ferry port. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring my needs were met promptly, which made my stay all the more pleasant.

Convenient access to the Savaii ferry wharf made getting around easy. After arriving at 1:30 am from Fiji, I felt relieved when the hotel van driver greeted me with my luggage right away. The friendly receptionist checked me in promptly, and I appreciated stepping into a cool room with the AC already on. The shower pressure was decent, but I was surprised to find cold water only, which is common here but still not ideal for a late-night arrival. The surroundings felt a bit isolated with limited nearby amenities. Next time, I'd consider grabbing snacks before arriving. Overall, the shuttle service to the airport was reliable, charging only 20 tala for both of us, which I found quite reasonable.
